A warm welcome to the Erpingham Arms

Located in the heart of the quaint village of Erpingham, so named after its most famous local boy, Sir Thomas Erpingham, whose tactical skills ensured the defeat of the French at Agincourt in 1415 and subsequently immortalised as a character in Shakespeare’s Henry V.

Only 5 miles from the bustling Georgian market town of Aylsham and 7 miles from the North Norfolk coast, the Erpingham Arms is a charming 18th Century pub with a cosy main bar, light and airy 30 cover restaurant and a spacious 60 cover second restaurant that can also be hired out as a private function room.

Complete with woodburners, sympathetic furnishings and décor the Erpingham Arms is the perfect destination for a relaxed and informal dinner or as an ideal lunchtime starting point for a trip up to the North Norfolk coast. If food is not on your mind, then simply enjoy a pint or two of our superb local real ales in the main bar.

Outside there is an extensive terrace to the front and to the rear a large beer garden with children’s play area, courtyard and generous car park.
